PEACOCKS PARTNERS WITH RETAILERS CANCER RESEARCH UK TO RAISE THOUSANDS FOR LIFE-SAVING RESEARCH
Peacocks has completed the first year of their partnership with Cancer Research UK and has raised a fantastic £117,000. The aim was to raise £100,000 within the first twelve months for the charity’s work to beat cancer.
Peacocks has supported Cancer Research UK through employee fundraising projects such as The Velothon, Race for Life, Pretty Muddy, as well as in stores through the sale of Cancer Research UK branded products. The partnership has also supported Cancer Research UK campaigns; Stand Up To Cancer and Race for Life.
In addition, Peacocks supported Cancer Research UK in raising awareness of the lifestyle factors associated with cancer. By promoting Cancer Research UK’s cancer prevention messaging to both employees and customers, Peacocks will continue to support Cancer Research UK in its aim to make more people aware that 4 in 10 cancers can be prevented through lifestyle changes.
