Product Availability

All products for sale on http://www.peacocks.co.uk/ are subject to availability. If for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled owing to lack of stock, our customer services team will process a refund for the out of stock item(s) and will let you know.

Part Delivery

If only part of your order is available, we will dispatch the items that are in stock and cancel the out-of-stock items.

Product Descriptions

Every product is sold subject to the product description and supporting information such as size, colour, estimated delivery dates and guarantees. All sizes are in UK standard sizes (Size Guide). We make every effort to ensure that the product colour is as accurate as possible, but the colours shown may vary depending upon the setting of your computer monitor. We cannot guarantee that the colour shown will accurately reflect the colour upon delivery. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all of the product details, descriptions and prices are correct at the time when the information was uploaded onto the website. Discounted products available on http://www.peacocks.co.uk/ have been on sale at the higher marked price either on the web site or in at least one of our retail stores for at least 28 consecutive days in the last 6 months.

Peacocks reserves the right to; cancel offers, refuse to allow any individual to participate in offers, decline to accept orders where, in its opinion, an offer code is invalid for the order being placed and amend these terms and conditions (peacocks will use reasonable endeavors to notify changes to all customers).

The Contract and Contract Cancellation

Our Contract

When you place an order with http://www.peacocks.co.uk/, we will send you an order acknowledgement by email containing all the details of your order. This is NOT an order confirmation but an acknowledgement that your order has been received. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we send a dispatch confirmation email. Any products on the same order, which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation email, will not form part of that contract.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non acceptance of an order may be as a result of one of the following, but not limited to: the product ordered being out of stock; our inability to obtain the authorisation for payment; the identification of an error within the product information, including price and promotion; you not meeting the eligibility to order as set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Contract Cancellation

We hope that you will be entirely satisfied with your purchase. Should you wish to cancel your order, you have a right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

For sale of goods, the cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you (or your representative) acquire physical possession of the goods supplied.

If you cancel the contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

1. To enter the competition you must register a valid email address at www.peacocks.co.uk or in-store to become a Peacocks email newsletter subscriber, or already be an active subscriber to the Peacocks newsletter.
2. By entering the free prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in Marketing Communication.
3. Should you later choose to unsubscribe from the Peacocks email newsletter your entry will be automatically removed from the prize draw.

1. By participating in a PEACOCKS Twitter/Facebook/Instagram Competition, you fully agree and accept the PEACOCKS Standard Twitter/Facebook/Instagram Competition Terms and Conditions as well as any individual terms and conditions of the specific competition.

2. PEACOCKS Twitter, Facebook and Instagram competitions and giveaways are open to residents of the UK and Ireland, excluding Associates of PEACOCKS or Associates of companies involved in the competition/prize draw and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, their families, agents, or anyone connected with the competition/prize draw.

3. To enter Twitter giveaways, entrants must have access to the internet and have a genuine Twitter account. Entrants must follow @peacocks to be eligible for PEACOCKS Twitter competitions.

4. To enter Facebook giveaways, entrants must have access to the internet and have a Facebook account. Entrants must ‘like’ PEACOCKS on Facebook to be eligible for PEACOCKS Facebook competitions.

5. To enter Instagram giveaways, entrants must have access to the internet and have a genuine Instagram account. Entrants must follow @peacocksonline to be eligible for PEACOCKS Instagram competitions.

6. The winner or winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the course of the competition. Entries are only valid if the entry is completed correctly in accordance with the specific competition Terms and Conditions. PEACOCKS will conduct the draw, and our decision in all matters relating to the competition are final.

1. This promotion is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 13 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion. Entrants under the age of 16 will need to obtain parental/guardian consent to enter.

2. No purchase necessary, however a valid Instagram, Twitter or Facebook account and internet access is required.

7. Further Entry Details:
a. Entrants must only submit photos that are their own work;
b. Entrants must obtain permission from anyone who appears in their entry before they enter the Promotion;
c. Entrants must not upload photos which have been previously published or won an award or prize via a Promotion run by the Promoter or any other entity;
d. Entrants must only upload images that do not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, ownership, copyrights, trademarks, patents, logos, licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy or any other intellectual property rights.

8. Maximum one entry, per person, via either Facebook, Instagram or Twitter during the Promotion Period. Any further entries submitted by one person will not be accepted and are ineligible to win.

9. By submitting your information and creating an Instagram, Twitter or Facebook account, you agree to the Instagram, Twitter or Facebook terms of use and privacy notice. If you do not agree to such terms of use and privacy notice, you cannot create an Instagram, Twitter or Facebook account, or participate in this Promotion.

10. Instagram and Twitter entrants must continue to follow @peacocks (Twitter) or @peacocksonline (Instagram) after the end of the Promotion Period in order to be contacted if selected as a winner.

11. By entering the Promotion, entrants give their permission for their photos/entries to be used by the Promoter without further compensation, over and above the award of the prize, for up to one year for promotional purposes. Copyright will remain with the entrant. However, by entering this Promotion, the entrant agrees to the Promoter publishing these photos/entries on their website and possible further use on their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media platforms. They also agree to other possible promotional use in media of the Promoter’s choosing without any further payment, over and above the award of the prize, for up to one year but with appropriate credit given to the original entrant.

12. All entries must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be valid and no liability is accepted for illegible, incomplete or late entries.

13. The Prize: One winner will win 1 x Peacocks Gift Card worth £2400.

14. Further Prize Details:
a. The Prize is a Peacocks Gift Card which will be credited automatically with £200 on the 1st of each month of 2017.
b. The total amount credited onto the Gift Card by the end of the year will be £2400.
c. The Gift Card does not need to be activated, or taken into store to top up.
d. Any credit not used by the end of each month will carry over into the next month.
e. The card will be wiped of all credit on 31st December 2017.

15. The Prize is non-transferable, non- exchangeable and has no cash alternative in whole or in part.

Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted via a direct message on Instagram or Twitter or via a message under their original entry on Facebook (depending on the method of entry) within 5 working days of the draw and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 14 days of initial contact. In the event a winner does not respond to communications within the 14 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and allocate that prize to an alternative entrant selected in the same manner.

22. Entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete entries, entries submitted by or via third parties or syndicates, entries submitted by macros or other automated means, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void.

23. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, and that Instagram, Facebook or Twitter has no liability for any element of this Promotion.

24. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting or participating in any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

25. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to lost, delayed or not received registrations or winner notifications.

26. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

27. The winner may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion.

28. If you are the winner of the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, entry photo and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this Promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

29. By entering the Promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Prize.

30. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.

31. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which us beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

The website will charge and take payment in £ Pound Sterling. All prices shown on the site are inclusive of local UK (Value Added Tax) VAT at 20% and if you are in an EU country currently, this will be the price you pay. Orders for Non EU destinations will not be charged VAT and will have this deducted at checkout. Copy invoices are available from within your online account control panel. Returns and Refunds

If you are not 100% satisfied with the item(s) you have ordered, we will give you a full refund provided that you return the item(s) to us within 28 days of receipt and in a re-saleable condition - i.e. in their original packaging, unworn, unwashed and complete with their original labels.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund for items returned that are not in a re-saleable condition.

You do not need to inform us before you send us a return.

If we have made a mistake on an item sent to you, or it is faulty, damaged or of unsatisfactory quality, we will refund the delivery charges that you have paid to receive that item – unless it was sent to you with other items that you are not returning for any of the reasons above.

We will only refund the price of the item to the purchaser once it is received by us. Please allow up to ten working days for items to reach us, and a further five days for the credit to show in the purchaser’s account.

Always keep details of items you are returning, together with the remaining part of the Dispatch Note and any Proof of Return Documents until you have received your refund, in case of the unlikely event of returned goods being lost in transit. We also recommend that you use a postal service that insures you for the value of the goods that you are returning. All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

As long as it is within our returns policy guidelines, simply take the dispatch/refund note and the product you wish to return or exchange to your nearest store and tell the sales assistant you bought it online. The assistant will be happy to either process your refund via the original payment method, or help you find an alternative product. Exchanges for goods at same or greater value (on payment of difference) can be made.

Returns via Post

You will find a returns label and instructions enclosed with your order. You must complete the Returns Note attached to the Dispatch Note indicating the quantity you are returning and the reason for the return.

Keep details of goods returned, together with the remaining part of the Dispatch Note and Proof of Return Document, until you have received your refund, in case of the unlikely event of returned goods being lost in transit.

Please allow up to ten days for your goods to reach us.
